| The EPROM+ is an excellent choice for
both the engineer or hobbyist. Although not designed to
compete with a laboratory grade programming instrument
costing $1000 or more, the EPROM+ system provides support
for most common technologies including the new low
voltage flash devices plus popular microcontrollers. The
system also supports older parts such as the 2708 first
generation eprom which other instrument manufacturers
have since abandoned. In its rugged, portable package the
EPROM+ system provides a solid foundation on which to
build. The standard system supports all memory devices
from the late 1970's through current technology. The
system can be enhanced with the addition of snap-in
adapters which add support for a variety of
technology families. The EPROM+ software is bootable plus
compatible with a variety of operating environments,
including Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP. If you
wish to learn about the system and gain a solid
foundation in eprom fundamentals, a step-by-step tutorial
is included. The EPROM+ system includes a printed manual
which contains operating instructions and schematic
diagrams for the programming unit plus the optional
technology family adapters. This allows the hobbyists to
build their own adapters if they choose. |
