| The EPROM+ programming system includes a step-by-step educational tutorial which guides you through each system command with easy-to-follow, detailed instructions. The tutorial is written so that you will actually learn by doing. The procedures use an 8K EEPROM (28C64) and our memory pattern test file (TESTFILE.BIN) which allows you to master each and every feature of your EPROM+ system. You will load the test file and program the chip. Read the chip into the buffer and compare it to existing data. Save the chip directly to a file plus save the buffer. You will learn the system EDITOR and how to use it's powerful commands to perform detailed, byte specific data operations. You will view the buffer data and learn to make changes (edit) after which you will reprogram your part. You will learn to perform partial programming operations, fill and transfer data plus search for specific data sequences. You will inspect the contents of your part without actually reading it into the buffer. You will learn the specific details of each editor tool. The tutorial will also educate you about HEX, BINARY and ASCII. It provides the reasons that these data formats came to exist, what they mean and how you work with them. After you have completed this tutorial, you will not only have complete mastery of your EPROM+ system, but also a complete understanding of the data fundamentals with which the system works.. |  |
