NEW Version 5.9F is now available

Available for download is Version 5.9F. With this release of software you may continue to use the EPROM+ system with our without Windows as the distribution CD includes its own operating system and is bootable. Version 5.9F no longer requires any specific environment to operate with Windows as the system buffer will now be created in memory or on a logical drive. In addition, the system will now search for logical drives when requested. When the host machine is booted from the CD this new release includes options for operation with USB and NTFS formatted drives. This means that you can access files on your Windows machine or USB thumb drive without booting Windows. This release also includes support for many new devices, including FRAM parts and additional serial eeproms.

NEW SERIAL EEPROM ADAPTER FOR IN-CIRCUIT PROGRAMMING

The ASERSM1 adapter is specifically designed to address the need for programming serial eeproms in-circuit (without removing the part from the board). This adapter includes a switch which allows the user to set the operating voltage which will be applied to the serial eeprom to a low level (LV). In-circuit programming is difficult because the voltage applied to the eeprom is also applied to the other components on the board or module. Many times these components become active and interfere with the reading and programming process. With the switch set to LV the serial eeprom continues to operate properly while the existing components are inactive. The ASERSM1 is compatible with all standard probe and clip assemblies.

NEW 28 PIN SURFACE MOUNT ADAPTER SUPPORTS CANON COUNTER ASSEMBLIES

The ASOIC28/LV surface mount clip with interface allows connection to surface mount parallel eeproms and frams. This clip assembly allows direct connection to parallel memory parts which are used on many copy machine counter assemblies. The interface board includes a switch which allows you to choose the operating voltage applied to the assembly or part. (Additional Information)

NEW PRECISION SURFACE MOUNT PROBE SET

The Precision Surface Mount Probe Set is designed to connect to the latest ultra-small surface mount chip packages. Each probe is manufactured with a stainless steel sleeve with a transparent insulated cover. This allows probes to be placed side by side without fear of shorting adjacent pins. The Precision Surface Mount Probe Set is compatible with the ASEREE2, ASERSM1, ACOM1 or ACOM2 adapter. It includes the standard terminator and will interface with third party programmers. NOTE: In-circuit programming capability of third party programmers cannot be guaranteed.
