| Available for download is Version 5.9C. With this release of software you may now use the EPROM+ system with our without Windows as the distribution CD includes its own operating system and is bootable. Version 5.9C no longer requires any specific environment to operate with Windows as the system buffer will now be created in memory or on a logical drive. In addition, the system will now search for logical drives when requested. This release also includes support for many new devices, including the HC05/08/908 processor family and the latest BIOS chips. | ![]() |
| Andromeda Research has always worked to address the needs of business machine dealers and technicians. To this end we are pleased to announce that we have added support both the low voltage CANON flash roms and the older 5 volt versions to the EPROM+ system. With the ACDM72A (low voltage) or AC8B72 (5 volt) adapters, you may now work directly with the flash rom components. This provides the capability to reuse or repair corrupt parts, copy the data from one part to another plus archive the contents to a disk file. You will have complete control over the data placed into a flash rom assembly which many times will eliminate the need to purchase a new part. (Additional information) | ![]() |
| The ACOM2 adapter adds support for multiple Motorola processor families. In addition to the HC11 family, the ACOM2 also supports the HC05, HC08 and HC908 microcontrollers by providing the necessary processor clock frequencies and IRQ voltages for each family member. This allows one adapter to address the needs of those users who require support for more than just HC11 parts. The ACOM2, adapter, like the ACOM1, is also fully compatible with the surface mount probe set (SMP8). (Additional information) | ![]() |
| The ATMS1632 adapter provides a single solution to those users who restore or support older equipment or arcade games which use the Texas Instruments TMS2716 or TMS2532/TMS2532A eproms. The TMS2716 is a 2K by 8 part which requires three supply voltages (+5, -5 and +12) to operate. The TMS2532/TMS2532A is an EPROM component which can be used in place of a 2332 mask rom. Mask rom components are manufactured with a non-standard footprint. This single adapter allows the socket to be shifted between two base connections to address either device.
